I am a Commissioned Notary Public for the state of North Carolina. I've been a certified notary public for 8 years, and have been certified, trained and background screened by the Notary Learning Center as a Signing Agent.

I'm conveniently located at the Perry Memorial Library where I serve as the Assistant Director. Walk-ins are accepted during office hours. Outside of my office hours, I am available by appointment only and I can travel to you.

In addition, if I suspect any inappropriate or fraudulent behavior, the notary service will not be completed.

Services Include:

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS/ JURATS: $6.00 PER SIGNATURE

OATHS AND AFFIRMATIONS: $6.00 PER SIGNATURE

POWER OF ATTORNEY: $6.00 PER SIGNATURE

Notary services needed outside of business hours will include a travel fee and requires an appointment at least three days in advance.

Cash or card is accepted.

MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSING: $ VARIES

Mortgage loan closings require an appointment at least seven days in advance.

Areas served include Vance, Granville, Franklin, & Warren counties.

Things To Know:

All signers (including witnesses) must show current state identification or driver's license. Expired identification will not be excepted. No copies, digital (on phone), or temporary identification accepted. No exceptions.
While documents can be filled out beforehand, you cannot sign on the signature line or date it until you are in front of me.
You must provide your own witnesses if your document(s) require them. All witnesses must have current identification.
I will not notarize documents that have been whited out or scribbled out. If I can't read it, I can't notarize it.
For car titles, the person selling the car must be present, and they must sign and date the title in front of me.
